Do they have Maxwell at all this season? If so he’s good for a win or two. Not sure why they are so bad, they have a top heavy side, but there’s enough quality there to win a few games.

Two reasons....

1. Top order.......they can click at times but probably the worst top three in the comp.

2. Their bowling (biggest reason).....yes, they have a lot of bowling options.....but none of them appear to be particularly threatening.

The second reason is why they will miss the finals.

Pretty much bang on.

Lack of a decent opening pair.

Rogers with scores of 14 and 1 so far
Clarke with scores of 0 and 32... and he's done now, with Duckett coming in

Then you have the likes of Harper, Stoinis, Cartright, Webster.... all of whom are capable of putting a good innings, but the issues are a) consistency and b) usually it's just one or two batsmen who will contribute 20 or more.

Then you look at the bowlers, and last night for example, they all felt very 'samey' except for McKenzie doing spin, Milne is the only one with truly threatening pace (and he won't be around much longer).

Might see things improve once Mir, Maxwell and Duckett are in the team but that said, everyones missing players

Yes, I believe they said on commentary last night that he'll be good to go from the next game

Thank you, if you have him in your BBL side for 10 games he will win 1-2 off his own bat alone, and be key in another couple.

I think the Stars problem is their team is so batter heavy, meaning when they post 190 you’re not too worried about chasing, as the bowling is generally poor.

The Hurricanes in danger of scoring the second lowest total in big bonk history.

The lowest of course: 15 by the Thunder. Yikes..
