So many contenders!

I struggled to narrow the field down but Victory Vein is right up there. Was touted as the best since f**king Tulloch but did nothing and I got sucked in every tme

Other notables:

Calaway Gal, Wild Iris and Phoenix Park

Wild Iris and Vouvray has cost me plenty.

NOt with Calaway Girl though.
I took it in all ups when it was paying ridiculously in Brissy, then when it came to Sydney i unloaded on it to win the slipper at quite good odds. Lost a fair bit on it a couple weeks before the Slipper when it raced on the Satdy night at Canterbury, but couldn't jump off it for the Slipper and had some more of the double figure odds on offer.

Sam Sung a Song was tiped to be a good thing - still can't win a race

Vouvray also was tipped to have a huge prep last spring but did nothing

But my all time lemon would have to be a Horse called Alfa always looked like next start was going to get up but was hopless.

Ambulance was also another that I followed for two whole preps and would run a place a lot but would never win.

I'm sure if I thought about it for a little while I could come up with a few more.

Was coming in to post that.

It's one of the biggest non winners I can think of. I have never backed it. My brother was telling me today how many times he has backed it and how unlucky it is.

At some point in time you need to say "the horse is sh*t and doesn't know how to win".

November Dreaming had this title in the bag until it changed stables.
18 months without a win and backed the cat every start.
Its last 2 runs have been honest.(win and a second).
Not often a Cummings horse goes better when it changes stables.

I agree with God's Own.
I've backed it on plenty of occasions and it has only won once.

I also agree with Wishart. I backed it one time at a bit of odds and it ran home strongly just behind the placings. Everytime i've seen it since then i've backed it and has cost me alot of money.
