Has anyone read Billy's column in todays Herald Sun?
Billy needs to do a bit of maturing pretty quickly if what has been written here is any guide. The bloke cant seem to take responsibility for his stupidity...the opening line "I have unwittingly found myself in hot water again, but I wont be making any changes to my game" to me is incredible....how about not unwittingly using your forearm on an opponents head when he is already tackled by another teammate. I reckon that one change to your game you could make.
Later on he says "I have already been out for nine weeks, I am releived that this time it is only for two games." Strewth....if he didnt do it he wouldnt be out for any..?!
And this is a beauty.."If anyone else had done it they would be playing this weekend" Two things young Billy...nobody else bothers with that sort of rubbish, and secondly, your previous record guarantees trouble, the reason you copped the weeks is your history.
I think we will see history continually repeat itself if he cant get it through his thick head that only he is responsible and he needs to cop the consequences and make some changes to his game.
Thank God for Greg Inglis is all I can say, at least this year the loss of Slater has not been to any detriment to our team.
Billy....no matter how good a player you are, your no value if you are spending your weekends on the sideline....grow up and take some responsibility.
Regards
Molly
