Aside from that he is one of the greatest players I have had the pleasure to watch. I really hope he gets back on the field and manages to play somewhere near his best. He deserves to go out on his own terms. I'll miss the prick.

Only Billy Slater could kick players in the head and get a penalty for it. Such a grub when it came to his goal line... yet for some reason ot was ok when he did it.

That said he was a terrific player. Not sure he could be even close to that after so little game time since 2015 at his age. I think its a bit selfish of him and Bellamy to f**k with Munsters career for a farewell game / season for Slater.

If anything he should be training to play wing, centre or 5/8th. Or even just as a benchie. Not Munster.

As a storm fan I'm pretty concerned about the idea of Billy playing fullback, when Munster is probably better than Slater (age and injuries etc). Feel as though the team would benefit having Slater at 5/8.

In saying that, Munster will still play regardless...might just not be in his preferred position though.
