Has the Storm entered discussions in resigning Billy Slater?

We better do it soon if it hasnt started as once July 1 comes around it will be very tough/impossible (dear I say it) to keep at the club.

I agree 100% Craig, Billy must be signed before the other clubs even have a chance to think of signing him. But I am totally confident we will secure his future sooner rather than later

On a similar note, with the future of Andrew Johns under a cloud alot of the Newcastle fans are pushing for Matt Orford to be considered for a Newcastle contract. So he must be signed early as well.

I tend to agree with Swain, as we had to make a decision between him and Cam Smith, and I think that is showing to be the right one. The problem with that was the way they got rid of him, not the fact that they did!!
As for Bai, this one I will reserve judgement on. Bai brought more to the team than just a try scoring winger. He took the 2nd hit up on every set, lightening the load for the forwards, and had a positive feeling for the club. IMO, Bai's shoes are big and hard to fill

i read in the tele that billy and matty were in tqks this week and the storm were confident of signing them this weekend or sometime soon
