Bird and Stevo cited

As expected, Bird has been referred direct to the judiciary, with no grading. NRL website says "up to 12 weeks."

Stevo has a Grade 2 trip, which is 183 points for an early plea, and 245 if found guilty. I didn't see this from Bay 31, how did it look on TV?

You couldnt get a look at their feet on TV. The commentator called it but Peters (I think)went straight past Bosnich and stepped Stevo.
I didnt know if it was Bosnich or Stevo that did the trip.
The finger was pointed at Stevo so I guess theyve got other footage.(no pun intended).

as you say at least sully wasnt cited and stevens is an idiot, so close to the end of the game and the big punce has to go and do that. Dissapointing to as he has been playing pretty well.

I saw it on FOX last night and all of the panel said he mean't it. Willie Peters ( i THINK ) put a little grubber kick in near the try line Stevens stuck his big hoof out and there was a bit of a rebound and then a fairly delayed attempt to stop the ball. Which looked exactly like a trip.
He copped 1 week already.
