Birdy was just on Channel 10 news, apologising to Souths and Shane Marteene over his moment of insanity. He looked remorseful, but I have my doubts. :?

Steve Rogers was also on, acknowledging that there is a discipline problem within the club and saying it was something that has "permeated" in the club over the past few years.

Well, I am glad he's apologised. If he is remorseful then it shows he has learnt from his mistake. I really hope he has. I know what his detractors will say but he can't win can he? If he apologises he's just sucking up, if he doesn't then he isn't sorry. What should he do?

Give him time. We have to upgrade his contract first. Get him a cushy job as an architect or something would be a start.

When I retire I am going to do nothing. That's the idea of retirement isn't it?

It's a shame that everyone is seeing Steve Rogers as the go-to man when Raper should have done something by now

The warning signs were there to see in the trial with the niggling, the dirty play and the near fights. That's where it should have ended.
