Blake Austin is a better 5/8 than Anthony Milford & Mitchell Moses

Austin ranked #1 on NRL 360's power rankings for his performance against the Titans. Moses and Milford...nowhere to be seen.

He's too busy being a passenger.

He looked fine against the Panthers, we're still winning and quite frankly good on Austin for playing so well, I have no doubt Milford is getting better with almost every game, and I have no doubt Milford WILL be a better player than Austin long term, probably by this time next year, so enjoy it while it lasts if that makes you feel better.

He'll have to come on pretty strong to even get to Austin's level now, least of all where Austin might be in a years time with his own improvement

Milford is flat out lucky his in FG right now, i dont care what you keeping tell us Kiwi, no one buys the shit your saying on this. Milford has thus far been a HUGE disappointment. He isnt even half the player he was for the Raiders last year. You know it and so do we.

Not to mention that under Bennett, he is likely to be forced to be more structured which really doesn't suit his game as much. Only have to look at how Soward changed his game under Bennett, and how Soward plays now.

Milford will never become a world class 5/8th. He doesn't have the passing game;and his running game is suited to space, something afforded at fullback, rather than in traffic. And that's because he's not a power runner. Very quick and elusive but he doesn't possess the power of a traditional running 5/8th.

Michael Morgan on the other hand does. He also has a better passing game and will be QLDs next long term 5/8th. And probably Australia's.

Soward was great under Bennett.

But his strength was his kicking game, which suited Bennett's style. Milford doesn't really possess a kicking game either for that matter. Further proof he isn't a 5/8.

Yeah its really hard to be a first class half when you dont have any legitimate kicking or passing game. Especially if you're not a strong ball runner... that is to say not a good one, Milford is one of the best ball runners but strong as in tackle breaking, line busting, style.

Austin's kicking game is average and his passing is still a working progress but he can get by on that because he's a wrecking ball when he takes the line on. Milford cant play like that, as a half he needs to have a passing game in order to help give him the space he needs to take advantage of his footwork and speed

Time will tell, unlike non bronco fans most bronco fans never expected an over night transformation with Milford. So you guys can keep bagging him all you want, time will tell.

 gee that's original, about as original as a topic started by a fan of a club to make themselves feel better about losing their best player by claiming their replacement as far superior for the rest of their careers.

On NRL 360 last night they listed the QLD spine of the future as:

Inglis
Morgan
Cherry-Evans
Segeyaro

With Mbye on the bench.
A viewer sent a tweet asking "What about Ben Hunt?"
They said nah, he's a halfback and Cherry-Evans is better. Maybe he can battle it out for the spot on the bench with Mbye.

No mention of flash in the pan Milford at all. He's destined to be the next Mark McLinden.

I wouldn't be to worried if I was a Brisbane fan. Boyd has just come back which will help Milford and they are still coming first.

Quite frankly I don't understand why fans of other clubs are so bothered by Milford's form.
