the ref was an egg.
nz had 86% possesion and yet the game was anyones till the last penalty.
well done wallabies, awesome defence. if they had started geo smith it might have been a different story. he gaurentees possession.

well done AB,s

the gap between the sth and northern hemisphere refs is shocking and the IRB must get off their arses and sort it out.

That referee was diabolical.

No offence to the Kiwi's, but had we gotten a Springbok ref there I reckon we'd have won...

Yeah right....
Come closer? without a doubt but a win?? You cant win games with a sh*t house kicking game and Larkham was terrible.
Cannon's an egg, f**k off Brendan.

Cannon the Egg............

Mate Mealamu gave him one in the chops with his palm. Cannon repaid the favour with a cannon of his own.

The only egg I can see is the egg on Mealamu's nose!!!!!!

Marshall and Spencer came in and landed a few powder puff punches on Cannon but Marshall walked away with a lump on his cheekbone thanks to a cracker punch from Harrison.

Mate we lost the game..........but geez we sure won the fight.

Have you been to OPSM lately?

Mate when you're flyhalf can only kick the ball 4 metres, your scrum is being mangled, you should count your lucky stars it was teaming down with rain or else it would have been another 50 to next to nothing Bledisloe scoreline.

I think its confirmed from about 50 scraps Harrison has tried to hissy fit his way into that he's the biggest soft c*ck cat in football today. His carry on makes Rivaldo's diving look legit.

Ha ha.........mate I'm not a big fan of Harrison...but Marshall came in swinging his handbag and copped a rocket on the cheek bone......all's fair in love and war....

As for Cannon............he should be our PM

Cannon = cheapo shot artist of the year, he was lucky the ref didn't se it or it would've been a red card, not a yellow.

Do not diss Juan Carlos Spencer the playmaker. He is the king of NZ rugby. Drop him and you drop the All Blacks. Merhtens is an expired flyhalf.

The ref was decent.

I play rugby. And football (AFL).

Big call about the Wallabies winning, like was said the forward pack was well beaten in the scrum and Ruck.

The Line out was all the Wallabies way though so for the life of me i couldn't understand the Wallabies kicking tactics (or lack there of).
On the restarts just pump it down to the other quarter and then the defence would have kept it there and the line out would have won the wallabies plenty of ball.
Larkem had his worst game ever and I couldn't believe they kept giving it to him to kick for another 5m gain or his quality restarts  .

Australia with the few chances looked more dangerous and the Defence was outstanding.

Cannon's punch was a beauty and i'm sure Mealamu is feeling it today but f**k he took it like a champ  and Spacemonkey Cannon's punch was not a cheap shot Mealamu started it with a palm in the face so fair is fair. What wasn't fair was Carlos and others coming in swinging while Cannon was held.

The final thing to end my rant The Ref was Crap and not just for the wallabies, but in the end the better team on the night won.

With heavy rain falling, the All Blacks completely dominated possession and territory. But some resolute Australian defence combined with poor Kiwi handling in the conditions ensured few opportunities were converted.

New Zealand halfback Justin Marshall was the best player on the field, while the Wallabies will be ruing a poor kicking display in the conditions.

From Sportal, I think that pretty much sums it up...

Timbo were you watching the same game

The ref was a bit of whistle blower but I think he was fair.
Spencer proved once again that he hasn't got the mental fortitude to play international test rugby, Mehrt's has his bad points but at least he can hold on to the ball.
Carter had an absolute shocker but I suppose he redeemed himself by kicking 3...
George Smith... pffft what did he do when he got on???
What about Sailor, what an absolute legend
Latham did alright though and Mortlock - always the danger man imho 8)

If it was that good he should have dropped Mealamu with a shot that clean, but Mealamu just punched right back at him. Either Cannon doesn't hit too hard or Mealamu has a head like an anvil.

As for the result, the Wallabies need to a: learn how to employ a wet weather kicking strategy, and b: use their forward pack to recyle possession for longer periods. They kicked away what possession they had for bugger-all gain. I wouldn't read much into the handling errors, with the amount of possession the ABs had they were always going to make more errors (you can't make handling errors with no ball) and the conditions must've made handling next to impossible.

Cannon was retaliating to a bitch slap, open your eyes kiwis, he dind't start it, but he finnished it

All credit to the Kiwis for the win, they had the territorial advantage and played the conditions better than the Wallabies.

They deserved their win.

Larkham, saw your leg off.
