You just know it's christmas time when the one-day cricket starts, christmas beetles begin to accumulate on your front porch under the light, and every single band in existance decides to release a 'best of' complimation!

Is it just me or are there more 'best of's' then ever in the shops this holiday season? some of the bands releasing them have only put out two or three albums so far...sheesh!

Best Ofs are just a way for the Record company to make money off the suckers that cant realise they already have the tracks on the other cds, and that they can just tape or burn it onto a BEST OF collab themselves. haha, they did it with 2Pac, but thats the only 2Pac cd set I own lol. 1.

WTF's with slagging the Verve off? They were one of the premier bands of the 90's in terms of musical quality.

There best of is pretty good anyway.

But then again it's hard not to be cynical I mean we all know that stupid song that dude who came 2nd in australian idol is releasing as a single would never under normal circumstances get played on mainstream radio. Yet there it is.
