Jets are now outright second in Premier League after defeating Bulldogs 28/18.

They have also maintained the 2nd best defence in the comp, with Parra leading in the defence departmant by 20 points. 156 against compared to the Jets on 176 points conceded.

( However they have played one more game of footy ).

Interestingly they share the 176 conceded with the Roosters, who have also conceded that amount. And are currently breathing down the Jets neck ( without having yet had a bye ).

Canberra have conceded 196, but have scored 58 more attacking point.
Can the Jets beat them in Canberra next weekend. A location where the Jets are yet to win a game, and in the past have suffered large defeats.

Is anyone travelling to Canberra next weekend. We will be there DRAPED IN ROYAL BLUE.

Remember seeing Tommy RAUDONIKIS in the crowd there several seasons ago. He would have been pissed off though, as the Jets copped a floggin. Going down by atleast 40 points.

I'd like to go down to the ACT but work gets in the way.

We were as attrractive as the Sydney Swans yesterday but 2 points is 2 points.

Seem to put the brakes on when have a good lead dont we, but, am definately happy with the two points.

Five wins in a row mate. How sweet it is.

Think they beat us 12 to 6 in the second half didnt they.

:-k

Did Nathan MERRITT travel with the Sharks side to Perth. Hope he is not injured or anything. [-o<

Suppose the Roosters are " TECHNICALLY " in front of us, as they are yet to have a bye.

Should all even out in the wash soon though.

Jets just have to take it week by week, and keep winning games. :D

Yes he and Lomu ended up with a free weekend in Perth.
They should be available this week.
That said SoO is named today, I imagine some Newtown resources will be required during this time.

Thanks angry, they are both playing great at the moment too.

Will need all hands on deck if are too beat Canberra at home this Sunday. Heard the game starts about 1pm -1.15pm.

Yes state of origin time might give Thommas GEMMEL and other talented players from our JB cup side a chance too.

Tommy can hold his own in Premier league, and has been playing great for us in JB. He was in the Premier League all season last year, and is a talented player when not playing with injury. In fact he still plays well when he has one.

Come on Jets fans. Make the trek to Raiders turf this weekend.

PS...ake sure you pack your ugg boots, and ice picks...

Went up Cronulla Leagues club and watched the Sharks/Warriors game the other night.

The crowd in the sports bar/section was going off. Lots of yelling and screaming from all fans when Dykes went over for the winning try. Absolutely went off.

Chorus 's of Sharkies, Sharkies for about the next half hour. People huggin each other and shaking hands etc. Top atmosphere.

Definately need larger crowds at our games. Come on Jets supporters. PUMP UP :!: :!: :thumn

No doubts this time....With Canberra's 32 to 12 loss against the Rooters, we are definately in outright second....

With a bye next weekend as well.

Well done Jets, bloody awesome.....
