Blues Selection

By the look of it we may have no NSW Blues this season. The only possible is Balin for Queensland if Smith is injured. It is interesting that I believe the selectors have been largely responsible for the situation we see the Blues in.

It is hard to believe that our consistent good efforts go unreward at a representative level.

King, Kite, Watmough, Glenn Stewart, Brett Stewart (sure might be a bit early), Lyon... All rep stars and all miss out.

All the better for our run to the finals I guess. But it makes it hard to draw players to the club if we are snubbed at the selection level. Do you think the club should be out there promoting our players for selection? I was just reading an article by Creagh suggesting more Dragons need to be selected. Lyon applied for the rep exemption this year and was given it.
I think the hardest done by would be Glen Stewart.He's having a great season.
Kite would be about 10th in line for a prop spot I'd say.
Choc seems to have burnt a few bridges in the rep scene. If he's not a better second rower than that overrated cat Creagh then f*ck me.

Doesn't worry me in the slightest.

I don't think Choc deserves to be there. Not over some of his rivals anyway.

Glenn deserves a shot, although he'd be on the bench of course. Could be a valuable utility - he has the ability to play anywhere across the backrow, and has Origin, CVC and Test experience.

Hope he has a big one tomorrow night now, he should be fired up to want to show people his selection was justified.

Edit: Scratch that, just saw he has been ruled out, makes the Blues selection even more puzzling.

That's the only conclusion I can come up with. Kingy does love getting stuck in.

King has been good, but should not have been selected over Tolman.
