i can't remember who it was, but someone ran straight through him on the weekend to score. myers didn't even brace himself for a clash, just stuck out an arm and let the bloke run past. was a very very soft effort defending your own goal line.

Meyers was fantastic in his first real season at the Broncos, but ever since he got knocked out against the Kiwis at the end of that season he's never been the same. Just never seemed to mentally recover that aggression and confidence that he had before that.

He and Dane Carlaw should've dominated the Broncos/Qld/Aus forward line for years to come, but they simply lost (or in Dane's case never had) the necessary mental strength and hunger.
