Ffs, if you’re getting paid rugby league dollars, surely it can’t be that F$&king card to not go out on a bender and put yourself in those sort of situations
The warnings have been coming but these blokes don't heed them.
Piss them off if they can't handle a drink and behave.
They clearly aren't serious about being a pro athlete, being paid big money and fullfilling the expectations that come with it. Their hearts and heads are obviously not in it.
I’m sorry to say but Moga’s days at the club look to be numbered. Big shame given the heartbreak for him last year and how hard he must have worked to get himself right for this year.
That being said the club (and the NRL) need to stamp down hard on this behaviour and send a clear message that it’s not acceptable in any shape or form.
In my opinion if a player is found guilty (or pleads guilty) to any kind of assault they should lose their contract and be de-registered from the game. Doesn’t matter who it is or how big their profile is it should be one strike and you’re out imo.
The game has to move past this kind of stuff, it just looks so amateur and it’s a bit shit as a fan watching players run around on $500K contracts who can’t even behave like normal members of society.
