no doubt it's the toughest game there is,
and not everyone gets to leave the game on their own terms,
Premiership winner,Captain of his club team, the NSW Blues and the Kangaroos,
pretty good run for a country boy from Taree.
All the best to him in retirement.

Very good player with a very storied career.

Should have retired last year. Thank god that sanity has prevailed.

Retired at 28, Jake at 31, Graham looking in all sorts at 30.
It's a tough game, glad to see players looking long term and caring for themselves. Lots of years left to life, keep that brain juicy.

This is the right decision. Was madness that he was trying to play on
I’m glad he’s retired and wish him good health and fortune into his retirement

thought he was an unfairly maligned player and people dismissing his talent are kidding themselves. At his peak he was a sensational edge forward worthy of all the honours he was given.

Hard to see another player gone before his time. Guy lead by example, he wouldn't ask anyone to do things he was not prepared to do himself. Captain his State and country, captained his club to 2 premierships after winning his first premiership back in 2013.

A typical case of one of those players who wasn't gifted with immense talent but made up for it with an immense work ethic.

Never liked him but always respected him, hopefully he gets a gig somewhere with the Roosters so he can look after his family in the years ahead.
