Well, that's officially sorted now I guess.
BULLS CLEARED IN SOLOMONA ILLEGAL APPROACH CASE
7th December 2006
Bradford Bulls have today been informed by the Rugby Football Leagues Compliance Commissioner that they have no case to answer in regards of any illegal approach to David Solomona as alleged by the Wakefield Trinity club.
Wakefield Trinity Wildcats had claimed the Bulls made the approach to Solomona whist he was still under contract with them but the RFLs investigation found there was no case to answer. Mr Solomonas agent confirmed that he had approached several clubs when Wakefields future was in doubt and that Bradford had never sought to discuss contractual matters with either the player or his agent prior to the end of the season
Bradford Bulls Chairman Peter Hood said today:
We were always confident of our position in relation to these unfounded allegations and we regret the amount of time and money which had to be spent this investigation.
