Wakefield got any chance?
Just wondering, as they're paying $9 on Sportingbet

edit: +17 start paying $2 a better bet?

Battle for 6th spot... John Kear has been known to spring a surprise on his day, but they are probably concentrating on their Challenege Cup semi final next weekend for a result a bit more than this?

hard to believe Wakefield are in last 4 for challenge cup....hopefully that has kept them for a SL licence...

Widnes are so close.

They are basically there by default. They have beaten Salford and two National League 2 sides in the earlier rounds. They are the only club still in the comp not to have played a SL side.

I still think after the next 3 years unless Wakefield get bigger crowds, update ground a merger with Tigers could be way they go...

To be honest in that case they'd be better just chucking one out rather than trying to merge them. At least that way only 1 team is lost whereas merging would kill both clubs.

castleford CEO has been invited to announcement tomorrow...i cant see them not getting a licence with he being present...both clubs will make it in...but I would expect Wakefield to drop down in 2011 if current trends keep happening.
