He called the ref a cheating bastard and I couldn't care less what punishment the powder sniffing flog gets.
The most disappointing thing is I remember how humble he was in a post match interview after an all stars game a few years back and thought wow he's actually a likeable bloke.
I hope that version of Brandon Smith comes back

If Frizell got 2 weeks for brushing past the ref then Smith should get 2 years.

What really pisses me off is the way the dickhead media/ex player commentators all think he is the bees knees and treat him like a celebrity even after his stuffups. I don't think there is much grey matter up top

He has become a product of what the media have been chasing him for for the past few years and poking the bear to get one liner smart comments and has become a media celeb for it.
Its the entertainment factor they want and they get. I can see why melb let him go and he will fit right in at Bondi..
But how stupid when in possession to say amything to a ref.

"But how stupid when in possession to say amything to a ref." - Exactly! So stupid and immature. Good luck Roosters I say.

Totally expected something like this: what happens when a footy player believes he’s become a celebrity - and escapes any consequences for repeated ‘indiscretions‘. It’s time for this nitwit to be made to straighten himself out.

I remember seeing him interviewed when he was in a quarantine hotel. He talked about betting on the trots and how the time away from the nagging mrs was good.
Remember thinking, what a deadshit overpaid moron.
Since then he’s been caught doing rails and calling the ref a cheat.
He probably hangs out with Nick Kyrgios in his spare time.

Yes but some sections of the media are saying other words were used at the ref. The way the ref reacted it was worse than what the media immediately have trotted it out to hose it down.
Anyway he will be the roosters problem soon

I’ll go against the grain and say I like the guy. Too many robots in the game these days. He’s a real character.
And let’s be real. Who hasn’t called a ref a cheat. He just said it too loudly.

I agree to a point. It is good to have characters that are not regurgitating media training and media managers. It is the media themselves that have to grab him at every opportunity overdoing it looking and baiting him for a comment that irks me. On field great player
It is some of the stuff away from the camera in the past 3 years that would concern me hiring him to a club in regards to a disciplined culture.

His interview what he said. Many a male would say that away from the girls in jest.
What is wrong with that?.
Some of the other stuff yeh he needed to be pulled into line
