The Bulldogs have also announced the signing of 20-year-old Wests Tigers second-rower Lamar Liolevave until the end of 2017.

Hopefully this has freed up a bit of cash for E Taylor. Would love to see him in a Tigers jersey. Sue could move back into prop rotation very easily. He plays more like a prop anyway.

I love Taupau but he offers more from the bench. Sorry I meant to say Sue.

Hopefully this has freed up a bit of cash for E Taylor
but after losing Woods we really need a big bopper upfront not another backrower that JT wont even consider.

Further, we have some more cash in the kitty now because:

The Qantas Australian Men's Sevens program today announced that Jesse Parahi will re-join the squad from NRL outfit the Wests Tigers on a two-year deal, effective immediately.

The 26-year-old powerful ball carrier from Avoca Beach has won 33 Sevens World Series caps for Australia and represented his country at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. Parahi last played for the Australian Sevens side in Auckland last November when he helped the team qualify for the 2016 Rio Olympics.

Jesse Parahi said: "I'm really excited to be linking up with the boys again. Rugby Sevens is close to my heart and always will be.

"I'm passionate about the game and have been getting up at all times of the day to watch the boys play. When the opportunity arose to come back, it was one I couldn't turn down.

6 rounds in and 2 of JT's signings have departed, one because he was homesick for Queensland and the other because sevens is close to my heart and always will be. Maybe in his wisdom, JT forgot to ask both of these guys where their hearts were.

When my soccer team plays trial games against crap opponents with ordinary coaches and players . . . if they have a good player or 2 and I'm in the market, I'll make approaches to them and win them over.
It's easy to convince a talented player to leave a shit team and come join a good team.
I think that's how the Weststigers are seen by other clubs and their Phil Gould's.

This rabble of a club had been rapidly sinking in quicksand.Year in year out its the same horrendous shit; overpaid/underperforming players (who can't perform basics of job duties i.e. tackling passing kicking) holding the club to ransom, coaching staff not having the autonomy or cahoonas to pick on merit, deplorable retention /recruitment, constant rhetoric from management that we have major salary cap constraints in current & future yrs, kids with talent r released to strengthen more financially sound clubs ( Fifita korobeite Te Maire etc)..,

I'm sick of this screwed up carcass but the sucker in me will be there @ Leichhardt this Sunday for more misery !

I know they aren't exactly big names, but so far this season we've lost Hoeter, Seve, McConnahie, Lamar and now Parahi. That's 5 depth guys gone from the squad of 35 and we haven't replaced a single one.
