Unfortunately I don't get to see many BRET games and I am curious from those that do are there any players in that team that will genuinely push for a position in the top side next year?

I know there has been a lot of talk about Grant but is he likely/able to step up or is he still finding it hard to come to grips with league? How has he been going?

I had very high hopes Chisholm may have come good but he seems to struggle to even get into this side, he is continually reserve. What has he looked like on the field? Do you think he will he get dumped by West Tigers at the end of the season? We can't seem to carry him and Humble.

I seem to get the feeling Sheens will persevere next year with the same side as he did this year and wait for a few of the 20's to come through. I was just keen to know if anyone from BRET may get a chance, truth is I'd love to see Grant outside Rowdy but we have some good wingers at the moment so I doubt that will happen. Is there any way Grant could be turned into a fullback? Moltzen isn't a fullback and was given ample opportunities, a big (and fast) unit like Grant would be good to see running back kicks.

Appreciate any comments.....

I certainly think Grant could make the step up but i think it may take injuries in our 1st grade before he will get a chance. As for Chisholm i just cant see a future for him here. He tries hard and does some good things but never seems to be a stand out, where as Humble really takes control and has a hand in everything.
They had a 7 i think his name was Spence who got injured earlier in the season looked real good also.

Spence is out of the NYC and a forward

Spencer was the young English forward

Chisolms defence lets him down and he still has not recovered from his hand injury which makes it worse.

Hitchcox is the biggest potential in the backline for mine but with two NRL contracted players in the centres he will only get a run off the bench it seems as I think Reddy qualifies for the finals if he plays the next two weeks.

Mark Russell was the half early on, talented kid but when he dropped form after injury Waters stepped up and really performed and he and Humble really work well together

If I were to go out on a limb I would hope Seumanufagai will be given his opportunity next year. He is a massive unit who has improved every week he has played. He has been fulltime with the NRL squad training and I believe Sheens rates him as an excellent late blooming prospect

Yep thanks Gronk.. Yeah it was Marc Russell i was thinking off. He looked good the games i seen him play. As for Seumanufagai , u aint wrong about him being a big unit. I hope your right about Sheens rating him.
I rate all the forwards to be honest, people might think state cup is a walk in the park but in fact the contact is old school f**king hard .
