In one of the few good things in Big League. Brett Anderson has been named junior player of the month.

There a few quotes from Ando about his ebout, mentions the fact that his parents and sister made it down for the game, talks about Ando having been setup with a traineeship in greenskeeping by the club and most importantly....................................................HE IS STILL UNDER CONTRACT UNTIL THE END OF 2005!!

Cool, hopefully he can develop into a fulltime first grader by the end of the season.

At 17 I think he has plenty of time to develop.........

Or he can just burst onto the scene like Karmichael Hunt

Or get injured and spend the rest of the season on the sideline like Benji. ;-)

Yes that very well could happen, it happened to Ashley Graham. Unfortunately injuries is just part of football, and we Parra fans know that far too well

Or pick up "young talent" awards and make some other clubs interested and offer him biggish $s to leave :(

Players like Hunt are one off players IMO. Benji would have done better to be able to adjust his body to week in week out football in the lower grades then have to adjust in first grade - that is just my opinion. Look at the body shapes of Hunt, Marshall and Anderson - Hunt seems like his body can handle the week to week punishment whereas the other two are of a slighter build.
