i don't think we can hold Brett Stewart back any longer, for mine Stewart should come in at fullback and move Walker to 5/8, mullane back to premier league, or possibly the centres

I felt like some kind of traitor saying that Mullane should be dropped to make way for Stewart last week at Mihgtyeagles. It's good to see everyone is agreeing. I've also felt like some kind of heretic whenever I mention how lax Walker can be at fullback (McGoldrick try...) and how good he looks when he is on the attack.

1-Brett Stewart (It is time)

2-Scott Donald (Look what happens when you pass to him!)
3-Anthony Watmough (Looked great in the Centres 2nd half)
4-Albert Torrens (Staunch defender. Hicks can create his own attack without the benefit of an attacking 3/4)
5-Chris Hicks (The only player in a cooee of a City Country berth)

6-Andrew Walker (Mullane is for the future not the present. Walks deserves shot at desired position)
7-Monaghan (Looked Dangerous in the Second half. Improving every week)

8-Leuleuai (Somebody said reminds them of Lima. We need a consistent bookend)
9-Randall (Getting some of that zip back)
10-Heckenberg (Tough luck for Donnelly. both need a Bee in their bonnet)
11-BEAVER! (Bring him back where belongs)
12-Sammy Harris (First picked)
13-Willow (Needs to play more of a ball playing role. He has the skill to, and every team needs a ball playing back rower)

14-Donnelly (Played alright. Still a little ordinary)
15-Cleal (Solid Prop. Call me crazy but I think his future is in the Second row)
16-Nathan Tutt (Looked Likely when he was on. Solo needs confidence and Match fitness)
17-Shayne Dunley (Was Great with Jimmy in 2002, has been great all year replacing Hollingsworth/Randall at the end of each half)

Mate, myself and a few others were also calling for Brett last week, now everyone is, its not that mullane is playing badly, its just that he isn't getting involved enough, plus stewart is killing it

As for Sammy Harris, how good is he, future rep for sure

Exactly. It isn't Mullanes fault. It's just that Stewart needs to be playing first grade for us right now. Mullanes time will come.

I would like to see Stewart given a go which means walker to 5/8 but his hands would want to improve. Both this week and last week he dropped 2(in each game)simple passes that should have been caught. Also did he just have a bad night under the high ball or is he not as safe as I remember when he was at Easts and Saints. He is the sought of unknown quantity that every team nees so I am not saying drop him but he does seem like it is taking some time to get back into league.

He's had trouble all year at the Back. His positional play needs some improving, or he should be up in the line.

The NRL side to play Parramatta is: Andrew Walker, Scott Donald, Albert Torrens, Steve Menzies (c), Chris Hicks, Jye Mullane, Michael Monaghan, Daniel Heckenberg, Chad Randall, Ian Donnelly, Sam Harris, Nathan Tutt, Luke Williamson.
Replacements: Kylie Leuluai, Kane Cleal, Anthony Watmough, Shane Dunley, Solomon Haumono.

WHAT DOES BRETT HAVE TO DO!

CURE CANCER?

I'm with the majority here, love to see Stewart get a go at Fullback and let Walker have a run at 5/8....gotta keep Dunley on the bench though against his old club, he has a point to prove!

Kevvie Ain't even playing premier league and he is fully fit, which i disagree with, even if he is leaving we should be at least using him in premier league until he goes

As for Brett, if he keeps his form up sooner or later dessie will not be able to ignore him

Is Brett Stweart that young guy who got injured playing against Parra last year?

If so, then this might be a good time to bring him back into first grade. He looked a good player, especially when Lyon left him for dead!

Oh, memories.....such a shame Lyon wont be back this week.

Parra havent played a good game all year. They will click this week and the Manly defensive average at Brookie of late will continue.

Parra by 20.

Yes he was. Personally I'd rather they stick with Walker at fullback for a bit longer, it takes more than 6 games to get a team with so many new faces a chance to prove their worth. Patience is what is required.

Brett Stewart is reportedly the fastest player at the club. Even faster than Scott Donald!

BTW The Premier League matchup should be a beauty as well, both teams going well.

Brett scored 3 tries today, surely he has to be named this week, thats now 7 tries in the last 3 weeks

Walker to 5/8
Mullane to PL

  . Did you go Disco?

Besides some Parra Tries (Not any fault of his own, cover defence was SHOCKING), Brett Performed strongly at the back, caught the ball, and lurked behind the rucks waiting for an offload like a Pachey/Wesser kind of character. Stewart is playing in a competition that he is well above and it is about time he got the call up.
