BRIAN HAMBLY FUNERAL DETAILS

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]The funeral for former Parramatta and South Sydney great Brian Hambly will be held at St. Josephs College, Hunters Hill, this Friday at 10.30am.[/FONT]
[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Hambly passed away suddenly on Saturday morning. He was 71.[/FONT]
[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Named as one of Rugby Leagues 100 greatest players in February of this year, Brian Hambly played 115 games for Parramatta after joining the club following stints with South Sydney and Wagga Magpies.[/FONT]
[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]In all he spent seven seasons at Cumberland Oval, including a stint as captain-coach in 1967, and also played the bulk of his 18 Tests for Australia while with Parramatta. [/FONT]
[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]After a season as captain-coach of Lithgow Workers in 1968 Hambly retired from football, carving out a post-football career as a Publican.[/FONT]
[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Hambly was inducted into the Parramatta Hall of Fame in 2005.[/FONT]
[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]He is survived by wife Denis, his children and grandchildren.[/FONT]
