Brian McDermott v Brian Noble

An interesting observation of these two coaches, The Quins have a bunch of no name locals who have required lots of time to be developed and persevered with, McDermott has done that and the Quins and the British games will reap the rewards. The win over Leeds is a remarkable achievement with that team lineup, the mark of a good coach is to make average players better players.
On the other hand Noble continues the trend of getting rid of the locals and bringing in the imports, I believe Noble does this because he hasn't the ability or patience to put any time into his younger players. He is killing the club and is a blot on the game.

I agree that Noble is shocking when it comes to youth development. Credit has to go to Harlequins though - there were no fewer than 7 London based youngsters in the side that beat Leeds.
