Could someone be so kind to give me a run-down on the Sydney A-GRADE comp with reference to districts covered / average number of teams per district and representative opportunities for players in said comp.

For example do representative district teams get named then a Sydney team etc ? Has there been any games v NSW Country, other states ?

Thanks

Yeah I only just realised that.
Although A3 is contested for the finals between the bottom half of clubs in the A2 competition.
Meant to get back to this post earlier.
Rep honours are available in a number of the comps such as Souths, Manly and Penrith who select rep sides to play each other in matches.
Souths players also have the chance to represent Souths Juniors in the Jim Beam Cup if there form warrants and the stronger A-Grade clubs also field a Jim Beam Cup team who players who can progress to from A-Grade eg. Wentworthville, Cabramatta, Windsor, Ryde Eastwood(North Ryde Hawks).
