I played touch footy last week and got stood up cold by a 12 year old (not saying that's much of an achievement, but the way he did it was awesome). I wasn't the only one either, this kid is quick and is very agile.
After the game I found out that he is moving to Keebra Park next year and the Tigers have him on a scholarship (I was suprised that a player that young would be put on scholarship). He was player of the carnival at the Queensland Schoolboys Carnival last year and reportedly was a clear standout.
I know he's only young and few people are going to remember the name Leon Curry until he shows up in First Grade, but it is a good indication that the West Tigers are serious about building for the future.
