While I was a little dissapointed with our last 20 minutes against the warriors the wins by the panthers and the roosters has really wetted my apetite for next friday's game.

All I can say is BRING IT ON Roosters!!! Win, lose, or draw its going to be a cracker of a game :D hopefully the panthers will come out on top.

Yeah the last 20 minutes we slackened off alot on our defence and ball handling. Still good to get past 40 but our defence was soft towards the end of the game. We need to be playing the full 80 minutes next week against the Roosters.

And I'm gonna be present at this one!!! My first game for the year... :D. I will be able to get my fix!!

I think my neighbours think I am stark raving mad after todays match. I couldn't help but jump to my feet and scream at the tele when ever Amos got the ball and what about his chase...not one but chased two of them down! Sensational stuff. Preston was magnificent too and our forwards they were all impressive...there were a few handling errors for House but he more than made up for them.

It gives me goose bumps to see our younger brigade keep on improving with each and every game. They are just awesome.

I hear that Girdler is back from injury this week, is this correct?

If this is the case, who is to get dropped from the first grade team?

My opinion is, *no-one*. I think Girdler should make his return in Premier league and earn his stripes back in first-grade. Everyone else in the team at the moment is putting in, and I think Girds is over-rated anyway.

That's just my opinion.

That's the sort of statement that could provoke a major argument in this forum. And yes girds is back this week but I think girds has done more than enough over his years at penrith to deserve going straight back into the first grade side. Given current circumstances though I have no idea where you fit him in though.

I'd prefer to see him on the bench, it seems everytime he plays his comeback match after injury we lose because they target him.

I'd like to see him come off the bench and slot in at lock or whatever.

I agree with you CP on Girds in straight on the side...he's one of our most experienced players and he shouldn't have to prove....it's like asking Andrew Johns, Brad Fittler, Darren Lockyer, Craig Gower, Preston Campbell, Luke Priddis just to name a few to either go back to Premier for fitness or come off the bench....they are too experienced to have them warming a bench seat.

And no I won't argue...that's just my opinion. ;-) :D
