Well at least Lyon and Peek are certainties.
I really wish Thorman could be given more of a chance. Witt was no more or less impressive tonight than Thorman has been in his outings. Stapleton offers far more than Vella........tough unhindered aggression as opposed to pink icing coated doughnuts.
Prince hasn't had much chance this year to show his wares. That would be tough on the kid.
We could save loads of dosh just getting rid of Vella and Vaeliki - they really have little to offer us anymore.

After giving Wagon heaps for the best part of the first half of the season, I'm prepared to give him another shot next year (as long as its at lock). He has busted his arse for the good part of 4 or 5 weeks now.

It doesn't matter if that is true or not....the fact is Vella has a existing contract for next season, Stapleton doesn't.....same situation with the rest of them....we have gone out to buy quality and unfortunately that means there will be less money to spend.

Regardless of whether he wants to go or not, he has a contract. So does Vella.
You know that if Dykes goes to the Sharks, we'll still be paying a fair proportion of his wages?
In the case of Vella, if we released him and another club snapped him up, we'd be in the same situation.
In Vella's case, it would be money WELL SPENT.

Why wouldn't we just keep the player with more talent.

The last interview i read with dyjes said he is happy where he is and doesnt plan on going anywhere

I'm not saying he is ASKING to leave, but he has to be content to go for there to be any form of release.
