To para-phrase the great man, " That was the win they had to have!"
They won it, so.....let's look ahead to the semi-final next weekend.
Regardless of who they play, I think we'll see a much better performance. Matai comes back and Jamie Lyon does make a difference. They were on a 7 game winning streak when he was injured. After that, they won 3 from 6.
The make up of the 17 will be interesting for next game. Assuming, Lyon goes back to 6, will that mean, Menzies starts off the bench? With who else? King, Cuthbertson....then Bryant or Le Strange?
Bearing in mind, Le Strange wasn't required tonight. Now, does this mean that Des prefers a forward rotation off the bench for the finals? I hope not. Le Strange has been very good this season, adding an extra dimension to their attack as soon as he gets his hands on the ball.
