QRL will block them using Ipswich Jets as they did with Redcliffe Dolphins for some unknown bloody reason

Got the best infrastructure
agreedLet's see, but it's best option
That's a very shrewd point.no…
let’s see the state of play in 10 years time when the NRL might start the process of Brisbane 3
As good as that may sound, there's little likelihood of that happening.Just relocate West Tigers to West Brisbane/Ipswich. Won’t even need to change the name. Hopefully they will stop being so rubbish. Alternatively, just wait until PNG falls over and then bring them in.
I think PNG will be a spectacular failure but the AUS govt won't ever drop the funding.Just relocate West Tigers to West Brisbane/Ipswich. Won’t even need to change the name. Hopefully they will stop being so rubbish. Alternatively, just wait until PNG falls over and then bring them in.

The club grants are typically enough to cover a club's costs year to year - and even IF a "big bad" like Covid happens again & chops down the NRL & clubs' revenue to a point where a club testers, the NRL have shown time and again to be unwilling to use a bailout as leverage for relocation.
Is this actually true?QRL will block them using Ipswich Jets as they did with Redcliffe Dolphins for some unknown bloody reason
Yeah I didn't know either until I was told on these forums, but this was the quote from Terry Reader, the Dolphins CEOIs this actually true?
I’ve heard it a million times but haven’t seen any evidence.

“We weren’t allowed to be called Redcliffe or we wouldn’t be allowed to play in the Queensland Cup,”
Why 75 years of history sets Dolphins apart from other expansion teams
If the NRL had promotion for clubs outside the Telstra Premiership, the Dolphins would be the model.www.nrl.com
