English Premiership rugby has signed a 152 million pound deal with BT Vision.
Does this give SL any hope of securing a good next deal, and maybe Sky offering more money, to avoid missing out??
What is the current SL deal?

I see that RL doesn't have any "friends in high places" in English broadcasting. Its a recurrent problem and I believe that the TV rights for the RL in Australia was undervalued also!

Being Australia's highest rating sporting product on a consistent basis it was a poor outcome but various media outlets won't let you think that, as it in their interest to maintaining a perception it was a "great" deal!

Hope the RL world cup rates well and is easily accessible. The one in Australia rated very well and in overseas countries. I recall that the England V New Zealand RL semi final easily out rated the Wallabies V England test on the same day in England.
