Just shows how weak we are in the centres that we have to keep picking Green and to a lesser extent Chase to play First Grade there. Looking forward to next year and some real centres playing for us. Beale, Farrell even Thompson, maybe Cooper on match payments, Cooper is by far the best centre at the club bar injuries.

FT hope ur well.
You are talking about GReen.
Yep, made some terrible judgements, and lacks the ability to threaten any line.
I felt for him today.

I am hope you are also .. Yeah they seem to get outside of Green at times.

Minh if we had a cooper / gaz today the game was ours. Vidot busted his chops and did well. But he is hot and cold. Poor Green, try as he might he lack speed, power and has poor reads.
I have i said in may posts, Im unsure of Farrell as I havent seen him do much in the few games in have seen. Jury is out for me. Beale... yep.

Cooper and Gaz were a real luxury to have both in the team and at their peak weren't they TruSaint. It'll be a long time before we see a centre pairing like that again but let's hope not too long. Next year will be an upgrade they will be competent I think and at least both Beale and Farrell have speed to keep the defense honest. Probably not special but at least better than now I'd say.

Quinlan was very good today. A lot more involved than he has been previously and not just because he got a double.
Ah Mau and Vidot were both much improved today too. Both ran hard and straight all afternoon.
On the other hand...
Green always looks to me like someone who has been pulled out of the crowd. More terrible reads in defense.
Fien - why do you insist on kicking early in the tackle count, and how can you not make one single run in 80 mins of play?
Merrin - we all know you can offload, but surely it only makes sense to offload if there is someone who will get the steeden into a better position than you are already in? If they took run metres off you every time you threw a bad offload that cost us ground you'd be in the negatives!

Amen to that champ.
Agree we were spoilt by 2 brilliant centres.
Ohh let 2013 finish FFS.

Aging roster? Morris, Creagh, Nighty, Weyman, Prior, Hunt, etc were all in their 20's last I checked. Apart from Fein and Cooper nobody else over 30? And Coops hasn't even played much. I suppose you can be excused for making that mistake as they are playing like they are over 40.

I am so damn sick of hearing all these Price excuses. Shows a lack of respect to the playing roster we have. Sad.....

Exactly. The media is full of s***. They seem compelled to stick up for Price because he's a nice guy.

When that merkin Hodges went down, I just wish one of the Dragons players cleaned him up the same way that dog clean up Morris in 2011 when he was injured on the ground. That would have been Karma

Saints have been blessed with decent centres over the years,Reg Gasnier,Mick Beattie,Brian Johnston,Mark Gasnier,Mat Cooper,Mark Coyne...........hopefully won't be to long for the next classy centre to don the Red V.

Yep totally agree w Cooper in Centres...we can then move Thompson to forwards next year.....Green is "A": Grade standard at best....terrible player just terrible.....we are a very average team except for 4-5 players...I think Stockwell is average and cant see him reaching any great heights...Quinlan is also not consistent enough to be a regular first grader...makes too many mistakes.....he is a good support player though..

It will only get worse this year with all the injuries (Dugan, Merrin)...Price has to go!!!! hes a terrible coach...

Mickey I don't know what it is that you have against Quinlan, you bagged him after we played Canberra, when he was about our best, and you bag him again today after he has started to grow in confidence and been prepared to back himself. His work with Morris to score his second try was the play of a 50 gamer not a 5 gamer, but I would be quite interested for you to point out his mistake rate

Runciman could be anything along with Quinlan if he gets a chance to play half back.

the cliche of refereeing losing us a game came true today..... in the first half a crap penalty against us led to a try, the one with the Gillet flick, and in the 2nd half that utter balls up of a miss, the bronco blatantly for all to see pushing the dragon away from the ball awful decision, led to the mcullogh try, blind wankers! a disgrace today the umps... I was so angry, I remember thinking the first half one, this could hurt us if its close, as they always are, saints v brisbane games... then the way that player was pushed off the ball, i was furious! cos the broncos scored right after that, broncos disgust me in general with their LOW acts through the whole game, the Thaiday sleazy injury scam too just the attitude, the Parker fight under the posts, so yuchy n sleazy...Fien was ACE with his comeback amazing, no reward for intelligence though here, scammers.....
