"Both teams traded tries in the second half, the best a barnstorming effort by Tigers youngster Bronson Harrison right on the fulltime buzzer, with New Zealand never seriously threatened".NRL.Com

This looks to be a very promising sign for next season. I really hope Bronson establishes himself in the top 17

Harrison will not be used as a centre..lateral movement in defence will be too slow..I hear arguments that he is a powerful runner and therefore should be used in the centres, I think he is suited to running outwide as a backrower and defnding up the middle. Still only 19 though give him time.

A good player but a cheaper version of Sonny Bill Williams.

Yea sure, if you ignore the fact that the two players are nothing alike. the only similarites being they are kiwis and they have been known to play second row...

at least bronson can stay on the field for more than 2 minutes

At least Sonny-Bill can tackle. Something our Bronson hasn't yet managed...

Average less per game than

Elford
Farah
Fulton
Galea
Heighno
Hodgson
Laffranchi
Marshall
McDonnell
Prince
Skando
Whatuira

He has missed more tackles than SBW but over the last 2yrs you would find that only a handfull of players who have played only a handfull of games would have missed less total than SBW or averaged less per game than he has

People talk about Bronsons missed tackles but his rate isn't as bad as 12 other players who played with us over the last 2yrs (and are currently at the Tigers for next season) nor is it worse than O'Hara, Galloway or Lolesi's either.

Stats are very decieving as it`s only the missed tackles that lead to line breaks and tries that really mean anything. Having said that, i really don`t think Bronson is as bad a defender as some people make out. Sure he`s made a couple of bad misses over the past 18 months, but i reckon they were all mainly from laziness, something that i`m sure he`ll learn from and correct. The real problem defenders are the ones that just plainly fear front on tackling and believe me there are plenty of these types of players running around.

2006 will be Bronson's Breakthrough year, similar to Halatau's 2005. The Kiwi Tour will do him the World of good and he will be a permenent fixture in our top 17

I was refering to Tackles missed that lead to to try plays (i.e line break within set of six that lead to a try or missed tackle with led directly to a try)

He doesn't have the best technique he is too top heavy defence wise and needs to learn to go around the waiste abit more that along with him trying to our muscle people is his main weakness (galloway try is an example) but in saying that to say he can't tackle or label him as our worst defender is rubish because he isn't!
