Rookie Cronulla fullback Bronx Goodwin, the son of former St George great Ted Goodwin, has signed with the Raiders for the next two seasons."


I think this is disappointing, even though he was probably a year out from being ready for first grade, he has showed some real promise in the lower grades

ah well if he does come through the ranks to cement a first grade spot just chalk it up as another promising junior we let go, if he doesnt who cares.

Dissapointing to see Goodwin go. I rated him as one of the top youngsters coming through. Hope this decision doesnt come back to hurt us. Must have been an attractive offer from Canberra though. They seem to be targeting youngsters as they also got the roosters Jermaine Ale.

He mainly played fullback so he probably saw that now that Peach had resigned he would be third fullback at the club. Peachey & Simmons being his competition. You could even thrown in player like Merritt for the position also.

When you retain players like Peachey at the twilight of his career you have to expect to lose some promising juniors who see their paths blocked.

Bronx and his brother Bryson are always amongst the try scorers when playing Flegg or Premier League. They are definately talented. A loss? Yes How much of a loss we will have to wait and see. Another Anderson signing shown the door. Stuart Raper surewants to put his stamp on the place in the latter part of this year.

Rogers signed him back in 2000 2001 and he played juniour footy in WA.

It's quite easy really, & sometimes with your help.
I first try to discover where their weaknesses & strengths lie so as to forge an opinion about our players.
I then look at your opinions & predictions, & think the complete opposite must in fact, be true.
This is usually in line with my way of thinking(along with the clubs & coaches), but I often do make slight adjustments.
e.g. I used to say that the Goodwin brothers may have a future. You say say Goodwin is a rising star of the future.
Clearly now(after your appraisal), the kid has no future, & I have adjusted my opinion accordingly.
