Brook/Qld Cup.

Brook if you tune into fox sports 2 at 5.30am wednesday morning Balin Cupples is playing for Tweed against Redcliffe,he features heavily and both his coach and the commentators speak highly of his game,you'll get a kick out of this game.

In the tv guide it is listed as Qld Rugby Union but that is a missprint.

Everyone else do yourself a favour and try to watch this game,it's a great game of football and i have no doubt the quality will surprise a few of you,other notable ex players playing are Shane Perry and Adam Starr, Perry is NRL ready but Starr still has trouble with his hands.


The Qld Cup game is usualy on at a more suitable time and a repeat can be seen the following day but this week for some reason it is on just the once and at a crap time but if you love your football set your videos because this weeks game is a cracker ;-)

Good to hear he had a good game, from everything I can see he's killing it up there and who knows - an injury free season and he might catch the eye of an NRL team (I hope so cause he always deserved more of a go than he got)

His coach said he should be playing for an NRL team,i'm not sure if the Tweed have any affiliations that could help him acheive those heights.


One question,how quick is he,i dont remember him being overly quick but he ran around one of the quickest players in the comp in Trent Leis to score a try?

was told (by his brother so he coulda been exagerating) that he does 100 in under 11 seconds

like I said that could be wrong but I doubt he'd be too far off

I *think* but not sure that tweed are affiliated with parra - it'd be right first meggsie than balin turning up in a parra jersey :lol:

I'll be taping it, do they have it every Wednesday at the same time Dale?

I dont think they have given it a regular timeslot yet,in this months guide it is listed as Union and the time varies 3pm,4.30 pm and 5.30am it's all a bit confusing,hopefully next month it will be sorted out.

They have a tennis tournament on this week so we dont get a replay on thursday but from what i can gather it is usualy first aired on wednesday and repeated on thursday.


Incase you missed it Chileman Grant Wooden carved up for Wynnum last week,if he keeps it up he'll be back at Manly before you know it ;-)
