How good is the album and song in general!

Loved it when they played it at the end of the SOO 25 years tele show in ch:9 it went so well with the classic clips shown.

Although the song "Brothers In Arms" is good, I think the album as a whole was probably their worst. A big let down from "Love Over Gold" and nowhere near as good as either "Dire Straits" or "Communique", which I regard as their two best albums.

David Knopfler has released a few albums which are quite good and well worth a listen to if you can find them. I lot of people think that his brother Mark was the sole creative force behind Dire Straits, but David has shown with his post Dire Straits releases that he is a considerable song writer and musician in his own right. "Release", "Lips Against the Steel" and "The Giver" are all very good.
