BTC Cup barrier draw
The barrier draw for Saturday’s $300,000 G1 Jacob’s Creek BTC Cup over 1200m at Doomben has been done and a final field of 15 will line up in Queensland’s first Group One race of the year.
Last year’s Stradbroke Handicap winner St Basil will carry the number one saddle cloth and begin from barrier 14.
Queensland’s flying machine, All Bar One has drawn perfectly in barrier 3 and the Les Kelly-trained Black Ink begins from gate 2.
Northern Territory galloper, Undue has drawn perfectly in 6 while the Hawkes-trained three-year-old Falaise will have his work cut out from barrier 15.
The Bruce McLachlan-trained star filly, Virage De Fortune draw barrier 7 while Media will need some luck when she begins from barrier 11.
The final field and barriers are below:

I backed Virage and it was murdered by the jock.
He jumped well and took on all Bar One right from the start.
The way he performed he was never a chance but may of finished a bit closer to the winner if it took a sit.
