i saw him after the game and he still had blood pouring out of his nose.

Yeah it isn't good and he could be missing for this weeks game again - We can't really afford to have both Skando and Buckets off the park at the same time for a full game :(

maybe viane and patto will come in.

talking to them after the game they were very confident of a good showing against manly.

so was gibbs. he wanted to get at cleal again, at least tackle him, as they havnt clashed horns in first yet.

Shit no!
Skando done his nose too ay?
Some broken nose can be very dangerous....chipped bone can enter the skull or something like that...near the brain I think.

Actually they have....Manly at Leichhardt this year - was some heavy contact in their first confrontation

Does Gibbs & Cleal not get along?

Well considering Gibbs smashed Kane a few years back which saw Kane go missing for some time because of a stuffed up jaw you could very much say they arn't best mates ;-)

SG Ball GF 2002. Absolutely nothing in it - honest. ;-)

2003 Jersey Flegg Round 1 Wests v Parramatta. First scrum of the match, Gibbs to referee:

"I can't pack in sir, Kane's jaw's too big!"

Yeah Cleal and JT bitched like well bitches. Said it was the lowest act of all time or some such nonsense. It was nothing of the sort. Live from the stand it didn't like like anything at all, just a solid front on hit. Obviously it was high, and Brycey got 7 weeks, but five of them were probably due to the photo of Kane in hospital in the Tele.

The Maggies had easily their best forwards performance of the season on Sunday. Admittedly the Rabbits aren't the best opposition going around, but the Magpie's big boys toyed with them. The best illustration of how good we were going (and how poor Souths) was Paterson absolutely braining em as a wide running second rower. He even did a very commendable Bob Cooper impersonation running down the blind at some poor winger who was crapping his dacks.

So the stage was well and truly set for Gravy to put on a show. It didn't happen. Of the nine forwards Wests used Gray had the ninth most impact. He didn't have a bad game, just didn't do anything worth noting. Covell at lock had ten times the impact.
