The Sharks look to stay on top of the table as they travel to NYC this weekend to take on perennial favorites NY Knights Saturday in Manhattan

The Sharks took some valuable lessons from the CT game a few weeks back and look to tighten up some of the soft spots they have

Should be a great game

Can't wait guys, big night planned at Pier 40.

---------------------------------------

The Knights are going shark-hunting this Saturday night at Pier 40. The night starts with free pickup Touch Rugby at 6pm, with the Knights kicking off at 7pm. Be there to see all the non-stop action as the Knights charge towards the 2011 Championship. The Sharks will be hungry for victory as they currently sit on top of the championship standings, but a win for the Knights will catapult them back to the top. This is the 2nd annual Washington Crossing Challenge with the Knights being the victors in 2010.

Before the match starting at 6pm we will have open pick-up touch rugby, so bring some gear if you would like to have a run. Then at halftime we will have a kicking competition with some Knights prizes on offer, all are welcome to enter.

And as always all fans are invited back to the Australian on W 38th St to enjoy our after match function.

It's gonna be huuuugggggeee!

Schedule :

6.00pm : Pick up Touch Rugby - open to all / Team warmup and preparation
6.45pm : Field Preparation - Announcement of teams – National Anthem
7.00pm : First half - Kick-off
7.40pm : Halftime – Kicking competition - open to all
7.50pm : Second half – Kick-off
8.30pm : Fulltime
9.00pm : Social event at the Australian on W 38th St.
