Bugger the media

I have had it with the media, if they can't come up with some positive articles to read, then bugger buying the paper.

It amuses me when they write a negitive article, and then finish it off with the statement 'the game is in dire straits' or 'could this be the end of the code'. Well I've had a gutfull of these idiots trying to telling me the game is on deaths door, I love the game, always have, always will, and I urge all of you to take no notice of it, true supporters will always follow their team, it's only the bandwagon jumpers who like reading that crap because they will just follow whoever is popular at the time.

This is just my protest, but if more get involved maybe they will start to write about things that we would all like to read.

I have an idiot mate who over the last few years has been telling me League is a dieing game.... After Season 2003 even he admitted that it was not the case

If League was on trouble don't you think the Media would NOT be publicizing it so much? ~ If a sport was going out the back door no one would want to read about it, hence no coverage.

The fervour over league's bad points in the last month is because so many people are interested in League and love league, the media want to get as much value out of it as they can. There's no news like bad news after all.

Anyway truth and being impartial are not two things you should look for in the media, but don't worry League is #1 in NSW and QLD, and should grow to be #1 in Australia eventually, because let's face it, it's the best sport in the country.
