There is a concrete slab on the block of land from a shed that use to be there, can that concrete be used as part of the house slab? or will the builders dig that up?

A good builder will rip it up

the engineer should never allow you to use a shed slab as part of your new house slab

No....I assume it's load bearing qualities are unknown? Has it been installed with a waterproofing membrane underneath? Does the new build require under slab insulation for energy efficiency?

ditch it

no chance of it supporting brick wall and tiled roof if it was designed for a tin shed, and no licensed builder would touch it without engineering certification and no engineer would certify it

probably wont have any footings anyway

Unless you have engineers drawings and know the reo in it, I suggest you rip it up or build over it.
