Bulldogs have amazingly found some money for Natt Miles, and to re-sign Grimaldy...

No, why do you ask?

Just fyi - Nate Myles First Grade Debut: BULLDOGS V DRAGONS, RD 1, 2005

Roosters interest came after he acheived rep. honours for Qld, get the difference? A player doesn't need to be born in an area to be developed into a representative player by a club, conversely a player generally needs to be developed by another club to generate interest from the Roosters.
well then you better look at the development going on in the lower grades at the Roosters - in your own words - we are developing players then...but you can twist your words to suit yourself. And to further shoot your arguement to pieces, how many clubs are interested in Myes? Five isn't it?

But back to reality which you know nothing of..I am sure that Canterbury wouldn't be stupid enough to be caught twice for salary cap breaches - would they?

Kids in the eastern suburbs have career aspirations and will be your doctors /laywers/accountants/economists/captains of industry etc etc where as kids in your area have welfare aspirations as basically generation after generation has lived off the hard working tax payers from areas such as the eastern suburbs . You don't need much grey matter to be a league player which is why your area and other such areas - penrith/campbelltown etc have much much larger junior league's. Also they dream of the possibility of getting out of these slum areas and one day living in such places as the eastern suburbs. Alas for most this will never happen.

HAHAHA!! are you deadset kidding yourself?! please tell me you are being facetious....

if not, that is the biggest load of horse crap i've heard in a bloody long time. i socialise with both 'eastern suburb kids' and people from the supposed 'slums' and everyone in between. the 'slum' kids have mostly been working since they were 15 and now all run successful businesses of their own. and none of them have ever even considered going on the dole.

some of my closest friends are from the east, but a large majority of these supposed hard working taxpayers do nothing but go to uni a few hours a week and spend the weekend hoovering a grands worth of coke up their nose.

your stereotypes are outdated and massively offensive. you could have made your point with a simple 'the roosters do not have the same amount of juniors available to them because of the differing demographics in the eastern suburbs'.

but tell me, what exactly is a 'captain of industry'?? please, enlighten us.

Stalin is a git ... he even thinks Russia will beat Australia at Football, but i seriously dont know whether this clown knows Hiddinck will be coaching his team from now on. He is a mystery to even us hardcore Roosters, so dont care what he says, thats the best method LOL.

Why are the Rooster fans only coming out of the wood work at 2-3am on a Saturday morning?

Face it Sydney, you're jealous of our forward pack. Just f**king admit it.

And you WON'T get Myles. Feel free to quote me on that.

It may have something to do with Work - You know that four letter word. As a finance officer my work is hectic this time of year..something some fool invented called tax, and financial years.

I work a 40 hour week (probably a less demanding job than you though ) And I prefer to keep myself to daylight hours on these forums.

Meh. I noticed you had nothing in response to admitting you're jealous of our forward pack...

You gotta feel for the Dogs. They breed so many stars only to see them slip away for better money.

I am not jealous of it - I think it is good but so have a lot of other teams have good packs..do I get jealous of them all?? No I just go with the waves and know that our turn will come again.

3. Reportedly, the Bulldogs offer is on a sliding scale. I understand that Myles has been at the club since he was 15/16 (I could be wrong), meaning that he's not far away from being able to earn a loyalty dispensation, which may be calculated into the sliding contract.

Ibeme, the dispensation applies to years played in the NRL and is at a maximum of 2 players per club. In any case the Dogs offer may be a paltry one anyway, we do not know.. As opposed to a poultry one from the Roosters.. God, that was a terrible pun..

Those who tend to get things right about the Roosters are saying Myles is a done deal. I hope so..
