thats just stupid, Burt is in career best form ON THE WING, why take him away from that position, much the same sh*t with hayne at 5/8 when he was carving up fullback in 2007. 08

It's a pain when your winger (the 2, not the 5 hahaha) demonstrates a bigger bag of tricks and quicker thinking than your halves.

I can't help but think that Burt might have made an awesome half if he'd been used there ages ago and given time to develop in such a role. He has a good boot too.

As it stands, there's no way it'd happen or should happen. If they were going to experiment with something like that, they should have done it in the trials. The Origin period is an opportunity to ambush teams with lots of reps and a battle to not get ambushed by teams like the Sharks (who were lucky that Gallen and Barrett weren't selected ... unlucky for those guys, though). Those aren't games to muck around with. The two points in these rounds are just as valuable as any other time.

We just won four games... why is everyone in panic mode with outrageous positional changes?

Burt would not handle the physical side of the 7 posy.

Humble needs more time to adjust to fb. He was indecisive under the high ball, and Barrett and Smith were smart enough to keep bombing him. I thought that's where we really missed Jarryd.

1. Hayne
6. KK
7. Morts (looked good in parts tonight)
9. Robson

14. Humble/Mitchell

burt was horrible at fb, he couldn't tackle, had no impact on kick returns and was diabolical under the bomb, we've had this discussion before

I was just stirring RJ... Hahahaha.

I am still

1. Hayne

but I would not dismiss

6. Hayne

There's no reason to adjust the side
The loss was because of attitude not because we need a team reshuffle.
We took the sharks too lightly as per usual and we payed the price, if it wasn't for 2 unlucky bounces in the dying minutes we'd be 6 and 4.
Now let's get ready for the dragons.

Typical forum talk. We win four games in a row but run out of steam against the Sharks and we have to swap the whole team around! I thought Mortimer was our best tonight.

Also I think if Hayne plays we score all three tries in the final ten minutes that were bombed by kicks, on 3rd tackles!

I guess the dynamics of the backline will start to change shortly because of Tom Humble. He shows all the right signs of being much better than an average 1st grade player. He is going to put a lot of pressure on KK at 6. It would be great to develop a tandem with Hayne between 1 and 6. Humble looks relaxed, very focused, unfazed and seems to have a lot of time to do whatever he sees in front of him.

Please keep Tom Humble in first grade DA.

Leave Burt where he is on the wing. He already brings so much to the table and it appears DA has given Burt a license to roam (within guidelines) and pop up wherever. The unexpected from Burt works best from the wing.

This is one of the stupidest threads , Burt is a winger fullstop,

Possibly the thread should be stopped, like Tahu to 6, it is dumb

I like that he doesnt take a backwards step. But to be honest. Its not kk that should be worried, its the other half that should realise if he wants to talk the papers everyday then he better start delivering. KK has it all over mortimer at this stage of there careers and its not him i would be looking at resting.
