I was pretty vocal in the Penrith forum that Martin was horrible in Origin and had two of the worst games played by a Panther in recent years against the Storm and Souths late this season.

He absolutely beasted the finals and world cup though.

That said he is nowhere near the best edge player in the comp. Especially when Cam Murray slots in there with ease when Yeo is at lock in rep games. Even at PENRITH Kikau and Capewell (in 20/21) are better edge runners than him.

While JFH is one of the best and has been for several years I think Tapine was the best prop this year. As a Raiders fan of course I'm biased but Tapine literally put the Canberra side on his back and carried them through the middle of the year - JFH had a heap of good players, in good form around him.
