That's all that's gone through my head tonight too. I've wanted him to do well as coach, but he keeps shooting himself in the foot with odd selections and a seeming lack of being able to motivate the players to lift to the occasion. For the most part, NSW players seem to be playing NRL standard football while Qld rise to Origin level.

Freddy was incredibly lucky to take over NSW at the same time that a group of some of the historically best Origin players, ever, retired. QLD could not easily replace those men. Freddy slipped into that change of guard type era and got the victories. Now that QLD have regrouped and won 3 of the last 5 series, Freddy doesn't look to be capable of taking a trick.

What was Brad thinking????. Why would you put a hooker into a centre role and expect a good outcome?
Yeah I get it, he didn't pick any backs in his interchange bench, He could have pick Nico again.
He could have put Murray into this role as he is familiar with this role.
Poor Cook, he has amazing speed of the mark and is a quality player but he just couldn't read the defensive line which didn't end well for him or the Blues.

I think it's time for Bradley to leave.

I think a younger NRL coach would be a good way to re-shape origin.

I am not a believer that you have to have played origin to understand how to get the best out of the top players from an entire state.

QLD thrive off that whole idea but I think NSW could go another direction. Maybe a Cameron Ciraldo?
