That's an understatement. We had absolutely no direction in that game. With all due respect to Byrne and Timmo we effectively played without halves last night. We've played the whole season with only one genuine half in the absence of Barrett, but missing both him and Firman is just too much. Looks like this season is over but I think we are shaping up very nicely for next year. Barrett will be back and we have a host of fringe rep players who all have their best years to come- Gasnier, Bailey, Ryles, Cooper, Firman. As long as we don't struggle with injuries again I'm confident we'll produce our best challenge since '99, and hey I'm usually pessimistic about our chances.
