Cameron Smith and Cooper Cronk

I think this season has highlighted how incredibly over-rated the hairy grub and his manufactured sidekick are. Cameron Smith is an OK-ish player when his forwards are going forward. But when it is up to him to create something off his own bat or spark his side he is found wanting. Robbie Farah on the other hand can create something out of nothing, even when his forwards are being dominated. He is often the spark for his side and his vision is something you can't put into players. Melbourne are boring and one dimensional and a lot of it stems from their dummy half who is a rich man's Michael Bolt or Michael Moseley.

Cooper Cronk - what can be said about this manufactured munchkin. I hope David Gallop, Rupert and Lachlan all pay the Melbourne ball runners some sort of penalty rates for those occasions when they catch a flat, hospital ball and are then crunched a nanosecond later. Gus and co wanked off over this bloke because he could launch a hail mary for little palestine when he was on the wing but now the big over rated mormon isn't on the wing he is being shown up as a 1 trick pony with the flair of a horrie hastings or trevor cogger

Meh. Everyone has their bad days. You've gotta give credit to Newcastle. They played the house down in the first 3/4 of the match. When Storm got the ball in the last 20 or so they started to show real promise.

if the fight back happened 10 minutes earlier they may well have won it.

Maybe we lost because our defence was missing in the first half??
If Farah is so good, why can't he manufacture something out of nothing every week?

The Storm have an unbalanced forward pack which isn't helping. Their backrow lacks any punch whatsoever.

They lost Sika Manu to injury, and they lost Crocker and Jeremy Smith from the team last year. Regardless of people's personal opinion on the players, that's a sh*tload of impact and intimidation to take out of a team.

So he was a little palestine, but a big mormon? Racist much?

Cameron Smith is better than Robbie Farah as shown when we saw origin this year, Smith is a big stage player moreso than Farah

Stop the press! "half back looks ordinary behind a beaten pack"
Who'd have thought it?

The criticsm of Cronk has nothing to do with how the pack is going but more his lack of genuine skills or play-making ability, especailly his passing, it is absolutely diabolical.

Farah kills Smith on every stat around
Line Break Assists
Try Assists
Line Breaks
40/20s
Field Goals

What facet of the game is smith superior ?

Smith has been playing in a side that had a thousand origin reps whilst Farah has (until the last 6 weeks) had to try and get his side over the line with the likes of Corey Payne and John Morris

Is it just me or has Cronk gone down hill quick since Finch joined the club? Is his 5hitness rubbing off??

Farah failed in origin so much so he got dropped in a team of rep players and will have a fight on his hands getting it back, Smith has his spot sewn up for basically as long as he wants. Why?

Right so Farah playing with a busted rib in a well beaten side in origin makes smith a better player, because Farah was dropped. Thanks for clearing that up

Cameron Smith has most likely played in big games at less than 100% before, in fact most players do.

Smith outplayed him in game 1 & 2.
