Can someone please explain

How can the Telegraph and some online fans describe the Dragon V Parra game as finals style football edge of the seat excitment when there were only 2 tries scored apiece AND THREE PENALTY GOALS yet when this occurs in a union game it is labeled BORING.
Nothing against Dragons or Parra but fairs fair Union cops a buketing in the press when they score 2 tries and kick 3 goals the Telegraph calls them the Horror-tahs yet when the same thing happens in league it shows how great the game is. When players kick out so as not to give the ball to Hayne or Slatter its called strategy if a union team kicks away its boring safety first.
Fine some Union games are boring, but the same can be said about some Nrl games its just frustrating to hear people tell me my sport is boring cause they kick penalty goals yet it seems perfectly acceptable when it happens in the NRL.

Ignorance explains it all.

I have done a bit of coaching in my time both league and union and I place a huge emphasis on defense. Sometimes to the detriment of attack. But teams I have coached, if they lost they only just lost.

Games where the defense is great, not alot of people can appreciate.

But it also depends if the attack is any good.

2 Games both say 10 -6, one can be terrific because defense is great and attack great. The other a mistake ridden piece of rubbish. To me each game needs to be talked about on its merit. But I can understant the bias of ignorance of RL people talking about RU and visa versa
