Can the Panthers make the playoffs?

As a big Carolina fan, I'm so proud to see what they've done in the last 5 games.

They were 1-7, with 14 players on the injured reserve list including Kris Jenkins, Steve Smith, Steven Davis and DeShaun Foster, and they had nothing to play for. But they've shown mental toughness to come from nowhere and put a 5-game winning streak together, and their defence is continuing to get stronger, Goings has come out of nowhere to put 4 consecutive 100 yard rushing games together, and Delhomme and Muhammed are on fire with the passing game.

Their big test comes this week against the Falcons, and I hope they pull off the win.

Do you think they can make the playoffs considering the horrendous NFC conference, and do you think they will do any damage in the playoffs?

I think they can make it and do some damage in the playoffs.

The only NFC team that can upset the Eagles....

they'll make it... i think but wont go far, only challenges to the eagles are the falcons and packers..

Just watching the Atlanta V Panthers game.
The Panthers are like the villian in a bad horror movie - No matter what they do to them, they keep coming back. No team will feel comfortable facing them in the playoffs.
If the eagles once again have some of the injury problems that have plagued them in previous playoff campaigns things could still become interesting in the NFC side of the playoffs.

Big mistake by the Panthers in not going for points at the end of regulation and essentially playing for OT...they should have won that game, they let it slip and it could cost them dearly.
