Being a cocky Eagles fan with a too many overconfident dargons relatives i can tell you we are the only team that can turn the fairy tale into a nightmare his name is brett stewart:lol::lol::lol::lol: we are going to get you dragons.

But they look bloody good atm. If not this year than next year for the Queens.

lets not bank everything on brett, he is our best player no doubt, but imagine if he gets injured straight away, benji style...with that said, i would LOVE to ruin the fairy tale... but hey, after last year, i dont mind what happens..

Manly are certainly capable of ruining the 'fairytale' if thats what you want to call it.

They aren't as good as what everyone is making out. Its just the media. Maybe you can give us some tips on how to go under the radar :sarcasm:

Of course they can. The pressure of sudden death matches (alar....the Prelim & Grand Final) can often be too much for even the most fancied of teams.

Cast your mind back to 2005......the Eels and the Dragons finished 1 & 2. Both comfortably won their respective semi's, had the week off and arrived at the Preliminary final, cocky and confident.

Of course it's history now, neither team could handle the occasion and they both crashed out......no doubt crushing the hopes and dreams of their respective fans. Such a shame considering how promising it was all looking towards the back end of the season!

By the way......don't say the Dragons choked! It upsets them. Apparently they were merely beaten by the better team on the night!

Quite simply, if last night was anything to go by, NO YOU CAN'T.............Oh, but hang on, the messiah is due back, well the Dragons have been playing without Jeremy Smith and Matt Cooper (and to a lesser degree Nightingale and Paea) for most of the latter part of the season (J Smith has been out since rd 8)...............wait until they both come back...............

The Tigers defense in the second half was absolutely shyte. Their misses were basic one on one misses on Wattmough and the big Williams. Saints, Bulldogs and Storm won't miss those tackles..........not enough to help you anyway. There was a stage of the game where you'd swear Williams and Wattmough had spiders on them. The attempt at tackling was woeful. A really good side would have put 30 points on them in the second half...........

You were probably thinking along those same lines in the lead up to the Semi-Final at Brookvale last year, were you?

The funny thing is we have about 8 or 9 weeks more of these fun and games.

Naturally, I'd like to see Manly go back-to-back.....but if they don't, then no worries.

Why do you ask?......because they won it last year, the memories are still fresh. Know what I mean?

Oh, that's right......of course you don't :lol:.

The dragons own manly, and you know it - we have a better record than you do at that Brookvale hovel you call a home ground - some fortress :lol:

We hope we play you in the semis, because the eagles are our bitch and we love hammering you. Bring it on battlers, I mean if you imposters are fair dinkum about being contenders, then by rights you should have beaten the Tigers, but you didn't they owned you if the first half and the game was over.

yeah... you really showed you OWNED us in the finals last year didnt you..
your continual boasting is setting you up for a big fail, it may not be from manly, but im sure the drags wont get the prem this year.. and thats good enough for me..

Assuming we make the finals. Which I guess we almost are now. I wouldn't like to meet them in the first week, but the 3rd week or the GF would be fine. I think they will cruise through the first week...

Dragons own us? 96 must a long forgotten memory for some. Or perhaps they are too young to remember.

When was the Dragons last premiership? How many have we won since? Discounting the fact the merger means they actually have none anyway.

What comp are you guys watching? The media beat us up, oh hell yes, which most of us hate by the way, but wasnt it only a few months ago that the media, "experts", and past players were saying you guys were the "best team" to have played the game in eons? Then the season started...
